Stroud Book Festival is thrilled to host a compelling evening of poetry performance from multi-award-winning poet and broadcaster, Daljit Nagra.
In an event introduced by Stroud poet Adam Horovitz and hosted by Wycliffe College, Daljit will be reading from his most recent collection, “British Museum”, as well as a selection of his earlier work.

His books have been nominated for the Costa Prize and twice for the TS Eliot Prize, and he has also been selected as a New Generation Poet by the Poetry Book Society. Daljit is also the inaugural Poet-in-Residence for Radio 4 & 4 Extra, and presents a weekly programme, Poetry Extra, on Radio 4 Extra. Daljit has published four collections with Faber & Faber, and his poems have also appeared in The New Yorker, Poetry Chicago, The LRB, The TLS and The New Statesman.
